1. About Momsukali

Momsukali offers handmade Congolese mikate, mini waffles and drinks, prepared in Mallow, Ireland.

These terms apply to orders placed through Momsukali.ie. Please read them alongside our Returns, cancellations and refunds policy, Shipping policy and Privacy policy.

2. Products and availability

Products are subject to availability. Please check the product description, quantities, flavour options and prices before submitting your order.

Our products are handmade, so their size, shape and presentation may vary naturally. This does not affect your right to receive products that match their description and meet applicable quality and safety requirements.

If an ordered item is unavailable, we will contact you to discuss an alternative or a refund. We will not substitute a product or flavour without your agreement.

3. Ingredients, allergens and dietary requirements

Ingredients and allergens vary by product and flavour. Please read the information provided on our menu and in the order builder before ordering.

Where information is marked as awaiting verification, please contact us to obtain the relevant information before placing an order for that product.

Selected flavours use a vegan recipe. Vegan does not mean allergen-free. Different allergens are handled in our preparation environment, so cross-contact cannot be completely ruled out.

Please contact us before ordering if you have an allergy or dietary requirement. Do not assume that we can accommodate a requirement unless we have expressly confirmed it.

4. Placing your order

Please provide accurate contact details and check your products, quantities, flavours, serving options and preferred date before submitting your order.

You may order without creating an account. Creating an account does not subscribe you to marketing communications.

5. Preferred dates and preparation notice

The automatic order confirmation email acknowledges receipt of your order. It does not confirm your preferred collection or delivery date or reserve a time slot.

Please allow at least 48 hours before your preferred collection or delivery date, or 72 hours for orders including juices.

Dates displayed by the order builder are calculated in Irish time, from the start of the selected day.

Sephora will contact you within 24 hours to confirm availability and arrangements. This response period is included in the preparation notice.

Usual collection and delivery times are Friday evenings and Saturday daytime, by arrangement.

If we cannot accommodate your preferred date, we will discuss an alternative. If no suitable alternative is agreed, we will refund the affected order.

6. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in euro. Applicable taxes are included in the displayed product prices.

Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown at checkout before you submit your order.

Payment is taken at checkout using an available payment method. Please do not assume payment has succeeded unless the checkout confirms it.

We will not charge an additional amount or agree a paid substitution without your consent.

7. Collection in Mallow

Collection in Mallow is free and is available to customers from any area.

The exact collection address and agreed time are shared after payment and confirmation. Please wait for confirmation before travelling.

If you cannot attend at the agreed time, contact us as soon as possible to discuss available arrangements.

8. Local delivery

Local delivery is free within 10 km of our Mallow location, with no minimum order. Beyond 10 km, a minimum of €22 in products applies to the whole order, subject to the delivery address being within our delivery area. Any combination of boxes, toppings, mini waffles, drinks and sugar pots can contribute to this minimum. Delivery charges do not count towards the €22 product minimum.

Distances are measured in a straight line from our Mallow location:

Up to 10 km: free.
Over 10 km and up to 20 km: €10.
Over 20 km and up to 40 km: €20.
Over 40 km and up to 60 km: €30.

The fee applies once per order. Shopify checks your address and calculates the delivery charge at checkout.

Local delivery is unavailable beyond 60 km. Orders that do not meet the applicable delivery minimum, and customers outside our delivery area, can choose free collection in Mallow with no minimum order.

Please provide a complete delivery address and a contact number. If your details change or you cannot receive the order as agreed, contact us promptly.

9. Cancellations and changes

For delivery orders, you may cancel and receive a full refund by emailing contact@momsukali.ie at least 24 hours before your confirmed delivery time.

We use the time your cancellation request is received to determine whether the deadline has been met.

Requests received less than 24 hours before the confirmed delivery time are not eligible for a change-of-mind refund.

For collection cancellations and other changes, please contact us as soon as possible. Refer to our Returns, cancellations and refunds policy for further details.

These cancellation conditions do not restrict your statutory rights concerning incorrect, unsafe or otherwise non-conforming products.

10. Problems and complaints

If there is a problem with your order, contact contact@momsukali.ie with your order number and a description of the issue.

We will review your complaint and provide the remedy required by applicable consumer law.

Please do not consume any product you believe may be unsafe. Contact us before returning food or drinks.

11. Business and event enquiries

Submitting a business or event enquiry does not place an order, reserve a date or take payment.

Any specific event quantities, prices and arrangements must be agreed before payment.

12. Applicable law and updates

These terms are governed by Irish law, without removing any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

Updates to these terms apply to future orders. Changes to an existing order require agreement where applicable.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your statutory consumer rights.
